Huntington Beach:  Offering some of the best surfing waves in the nation, Huntington Beach is a surfer’s hotspot.  Huntington Beach is a city located right on the coast in Southern California.  In terms of population, Huntington Beach is the largest beach city in Orange County.  According to Wikipedia, “The ocean waves are enhanced by a natural effect caused by the edge-diffraction of open ocean swells around the island of Catalina.  Swells generated predominantly from the North Pacific in winter and from a combination of Southern Hemisphere storms and hurricanes in the summer focus on Huntington Beach creating consistent surf all year long thus giving Huntington Beach the title of Surf City, USA.”  Some other places to check out while you are here are the International Surfing Museum and the Huntington Beach Pier. Costa Mesa Shopping:  Do you love shopping?  Visit Costa Mesa and you will be in paradise.  The city of Costa Mesa offers a tremendous amount of shopping for anyone.  With designer shopping in the South Coast Plaza to deep discount pricing at small boutiques, everything will find something they like.  The South Coast Plaza is the largest shopping spot in California.  It offers over 250 retailers with luxury stores.  According to, “The South Coast Plaza is an especially popular spot among travelers seeking designer names, upscale boutiques and world-renowned cuisine.” Theme Parks:  Are you a thrill-seeker?  Are you a theme park junkie?  If so, Orange County is the place for you.  Home to many different theme parks, it is definitely recommended to take a Theme Park tour in Southern California.  As mentioned before, Disneyland is a must.  Some other theme parks to visit include:
