Huntington Beach:  Offering some of the best surfing waves in the nation, Huntington Beach is a surfer’s hotspot.  Huntington Beach is a city located right on the coast in Southern California.  In terms of population, Huntington Beach is the largest beach city in Orange County.  According to Wikipedia, “The ocean waves are enhanced by a natural effect caused by the edge-diffraction of open ocean swells around the island of Catalina.  Swells generated predominantly from the North Pacific in winter and from a combination of Southern Hemisphere storms and hurricanes in the summer focus on Huntington Beach creating consistent surf all year long thus giving Huntington Beach the title of Surf City, USA.”  Some other places to check out while you are here are the International Surfing Museum and the Huntington Beach Pier.
